Everything in Jon McLaughlin’s life makes its way into his music, whether he’s conscious of it or not. The artist, raised in Indiana and based in Nashville, brings all of his experiences and beliefs into each song he creates. Jon has released 6 full-length albums since his 2007 debut, Indiana, revealing a true evolution in both his piano playing and singing. As with everything he does, Jon’s goal is to create connections. He wants to translate his experiences & ideas into music that reaches fans everywhere. His passion for music is evident in each note he plays. In 2007, McLaughlin appeared as himself in the film "Enchanted" starring Amy Adams & Patrick Dempsey singing "So Close", which led to a performance at the 2008 Academy Awards. In 2014, he was the opening act for Billy Joel's Tour at numerous destinations. In 2017, he opened for Postmodern Jukebox and Straight No Chaser's "Double Feature" Tour. Special Guest will be the Season 8 winner of American Idol, Kris Allen.

HI-FI is located inside the historic Murphy Arts Center in the heart of Fountain Square. HI-FI shows virtually every night of the week and is known for finding new artists on the rise. The venue is acoustically one of the best sounding venues in the Midwest. The entrance is located at the front of the building on Virginia Ave and the Indianapolis Cultural Trail.
