The pandemic years will be remembered as some of the most stressful, scary, and uncertain times in our history. Businesses struggled to stay afloat, and everyone had to navigate the complexities of protecting staff and families in uncharted territory. Looking back, we are thankful we’ve been able to move on and retire things like curbside carryout, mask policies, empty shelves, supply chain disruptions, streaming, lobbying, and social distancing.
One positive outcome from this difficult period was the creation of the Indiana Independent Venue Alliance and HI-FI Annex, two significant and valuable additions to our history. The IIVA not only supported the local live music industry during the crisis but also strengthened the sense of resilience for music venues across Indiana. HI-FI Annex has emerged as one of the most unique music venues in Indianapolis attracting touring artists from around the world and landing a spot on Pollstar’s Top 50 Worldwide Venues.
