Huckleberry Funk is a gritty Soul/R&B band based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. Pre-covid, Huck Funk has traveled the eastern circuit quite a bit to cities and venues ranging from Rockwood Music Hall in New York, Reggie’s in Chicago, The Vogue, and HI-FI of Indianapolis, as well as other cities such as Philadelphia, New Orleans, and Boston.

Friday, March 24th – Chase Wright
This Lebanon, Indiana native and DePauw University alum moved to Nashville to follow his dreams to be a country singer. Throughout college, Wright played shows around town and it was during his junior year while he worked in the corporate world he realized that life wasn’t for him. From then on, Wright was dedicated to becoming a musician.

Feverdream.
Feverdream. began in the Fall of 2019 in Indianapolis after childhood best friends, Mikey Garrett and Ian Kinsey started playing music together. They fleshed out their chemistry with band members Vinny Corsaro and Geoffrey Sears and have been gigging since Spring 2021.

Pulling from influences like KC and the Sunshine Band, Robin Raps brings a sonic celebration that floats between trumpet-heavy pop-rap and loose, sample-ridden head bobbers. With a freshly-released album, a handful of lighthearted music videos, and his budding “Garden Party” concert series, Robin continues his campaign with his third MOKB appearance.

Parris LaDame
Parris LaDame was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She began writing music and poetry at an early age. It wasn’t until her high school teacher noticed she had something special when it came to words. Parris was then introduced to the studio where she noticed the others there weren’t taking their time seriously. This was an advantage for Parris because she was more than focused, she was ready to make a statement. The rest is history.
3VM
3VM hails from the south side of Chicago, but was later moved to Indiana to improve his chances for college. While attending Ball State University, 3VM established his platform as a lyricist with an infectious vocal cadence that creates a Dark Wave approach to Alternative Hip Hop. Just like his largest influencer, Kid Cudi, 3VM uses his voice as an instrument controlling the energy and vibes of his audience.
Foreign Angel
The Indianapolis artist Foreign Angel formerly known as Sir Danny Ca$h has a unique style to his approach. Not only is he a singer and rapper, but he also mixes/masters the majority of the music he puts out which allows him to stand out from the majority of Midwest artists.
1996Montana
Born and raised in Frankfort, Indiana, Montana was exposed to music of all kinds in his small town, less than an hour outside of Indianapolis. Raised on MTV, Montana was already fascinated by musical stardom. He started recording song covers into his phone but didn’t share them with anyone. “I was too embarrassed,” he says, but it wasn’t until he was 20 years old that he started taking the steps toward building a career in music.

Arselia Kent is an indie pop singer-songwriter from Indianapolis, IN. She writes songs that are raw and honest, but loves to make you dance at the same time. She is in the process of recording her debut album at Naptime Recordings, produced by her brother, Garrett Langebartels, set to release early 2023. Her debut single “monsters” is out now on all streaming platforms.

Brett Wiscons
Brett Wiscons is an Indiana-based touring singer, songwriter and four-time author. He has shared the stage with a vast array of international and national touring acts including: Jon Bon Jovi, Jimmy Buffett, Darius Rucker, Zac Brown Band, Katy Perry, Big Head Todd & the Monsters, Collective Soul, Tonic, BoDeans, Red Wanting Blue, LeAnn Rimes, Rick Springfield, Lifehouse, Trace Adkins, Taylor Hicks, Kellie Pickler, Shawn Mullins, Hootie & the Blowfish, Sister Hazel, Fuel, Days of the New, Maia Sharp, Freddy Jones Band and Tony Lucca among others.
Katherine Nagy
Katherine was raised in Ireland, so you may hear a slight Celtic influence combined with her love of folk in her songs. Her lyrics are authentic and her delivery sincere with lyrics reflecting on love, hope, dreams, motherhood and finding purpose. She now lives in Indianapolis, IN with her husband, 3 children and dog.
Doug Henthorn
Doug’s been changing the oil in a number of projects since founding and fronting the now disbanded blues-rock band Healing Sixes (2000-14). His debut release ‘Cold Medicine’ (2016) is a crafty and brooding songscape with more of a focus on voice and lyric than his previous H6’s era. His second release “The LLC” (2019) is a fun barebones rock record with a healthy dose of newly termed ‘Alternative Blues’. His current release ‘Three’ (2022) is a deep dive into the ‘golden age’ rock genre and is receiving rave reviews. Doug performs and records all over the US and abroad while maintaining his residence in central Indiana.
Jaime Nichole
Jamie Nichole is an Americana Singer-songwriter and award winning vocalist from the small south central Indiana city of Martinsville. Her style of music floats gently between alternative country, and adult contemporary on well crafted story-telling songs.

Sunday, April 9th – Inner Peace ’23 Demo Release Show
Inner Peace is a new Indianapolis hardcore punk band that makes songs that are hotter than the Motor Speedway. The group includes members of some of your favorite Indy bands (Big Hog, L.I.B., The Resource Network) and is fronted by veteran rapper Drayco McCoy. Though it’s clear in Drayco’s vocal delivery that he’s released over a dozen mixtapes and EPs, this is far from a cheesy rap-rock crossover—it’s the real deal.

Matthew Thomas is a singer-songwriter who grew up outside Chicago in the ’90s. Having lived in Indiana for the past 15 years, though, he considers himself an adopted Hoosier. Surrounded by the beauty of church music for most of his life, Matthew has always had a desire to make music that wasn’t limited to Sunday morning; something that could meet people in the everyday and mundane.

Fountain Square favorites kick off the 2023 Annex season with a FREE show! Alternating between sweet soulful vocal runs and unabashed lead guitar, the band is about having fun with a few breaks for tenderness. Although the sound will swell and have you dancing to chugging blues riffs about “whatchamacall’em”, the noise will regularly make way for vocal runs that hush the room.

Josh Kaufman
Josh Kaufman’s music has an emotional directness and intensity that is rivaled by few. It has been described as a soulful mix of pop, rock, folk, and jazz. His influences are diverse, ranging from Jeff Buckley to Chris Cornell to Beck to Stevie Wonder to Chet Baker. It’s difficult to nail him down to a particular genre, but when people hear his music—or especially when they experience it live—they know that they are experiencing something special.
Cliff Ritchey
Cliff Ritchey gathers his songwriting inspiration from the simple country life he surrounds himself with in Markleville, Indiana. In 2004 he released his first solo album This Is Front, followed by All Kidding Aside (2006), Seasons (2013) , The Second Half (2017) featuring the song “Honey Baby” which won 1st place in the Chris Austin Songwriting Competition.
Daniel Deitrich
Daniel Deitrich, a South Bend native, is a singer/songwriter based in Southwest Michigan. His honest, heartbreaking, yet hopeful writing finds a home in massive Americana anthems, catchy Indie rock hooks, as well as intimate acoustic confessionals.
