Chicago-native indie artist, Lillie West, who is best known by her stage name Lala Lala, released a new single ahead of her 26-date North American tour. Her new single “Memory”, co-produced by Andrew Broder, is West’s latest release since her 2021 album I Want The Door To Open.
In a press statement, West states that “‘Memory’ is about ‘euphoric recall’ and letting go of fantasy—Is it magic or a meaningful coincidence or are you just obsessed?”. “Memory” starts off as a soft piano ballad and then transforms into an upbeat dance track that perfectly aligns with the story she’s telling in this song.
