Gangstagrass combines great American traditions of bluegrass, hip-hop, and beyond to create a whole new musical genre that is more than the sum of its parts.
Gangstagrass was on season 16 of America’s Got Talent, performing all originals for each show. The band auditioned with their song ‘Bound To Ride’, which captivated the judges and the audience, and made each judge vote ‘Yes’ for them to move onto the Top 36. Gangstagrass made it all the way to the quarterfinals before being eliminated due to not having enough points to move on. Fans of Gangstagrass and the show have said that the group was robbed of a spot on the semifinals.
Since appearing on the show, the band has grown in popularity because of their unique sound and strong stage presence. Gangstagrass kicks off their international tour on February 24, 2022 at Bijou Theatre in Knoxville, Tennessee and continue to travel around the U.S. and the U.K.
