Effective Thursday, February 12, 2026 – HI-FI Venues (which include HI-FI, HI-FI Annex and LO-FI Lounge) will operate as fully cashless venues. This includes our concessions and bar service, box office and coat check.
Anytime we change how things work, we know questions come up—so we want to be clear about why we’re doing this, what it means for you, and how we’re working to make sure it has minimal impact on your experience. Should any issues arise during this transition, we are committed to quick actions to minimize any inconveniences.
What This Means for Guests
HI-FI will accept credit cards, debit cards, and contactless payment options such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
While we won’t be able to accept cash for bar or venue-operated purchases, we’re committed to communicating this clearly and helping make the transition as smooth as possible.
Why Go Cashless?
Moving to a cashless operation allows us to create a smoother, faster, and safer experience for both fans and staff. Cash makes up a very small portion of our transactions but creates an immense workload on our team. We are making these updates to align our venue with current industry standards and best practices used by peer venues nationwide.
Here are a few key benefits:
- Faster Service – Cashless transactions are significantly quicker than handling cash which means shorter lines at the bar and faster service, giving you more time to enjoy the show.
- Increased accuracy & transparency – Cashless payments reduce errors and eliminate issues with incorrect change. You’ll always know exactly what you’re paying, instantly.
- Improved safety & security – Operating without cash helps create a safer environment by reducing the risks associated with handling and storing cash on-site.
- Better efficiency overall – From doors to last call, a cashless system allows our team to focus on hospitality and the live music experience—not cash handling.
A Note About Merch
Merchandise tables are operated by the artists and their teams, and payment methods at the merch table are up to each individual artist. Some artists may accept cash, some may be cashless, and some may offer both.
To support this, our ATM will remain available in HI-FI for guests who wish to access cash specifically for artist merchandise.
Our Goal: Less Friction, More Music
This change isn’t about creating barriers; it’s about improving the overall experience. Going cashless helps us move faster, operate more safely, and keep the focus where it belongs: great shows, great sound, and great nights out.
We truly appreciate your understanding and support as we make this transition. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out or speak with a member of our staff.
We’ll see you at the show. 🎶
