Frequently Asked Questions About HI-FI

Counterfeit Tickets, Brokers & Resellers

To ensure a smooth entry to our shows, please purchase tickets only from our authorized ticketing partner, Tixr. As we recently transitioned from See Tickets to Tixr, there are some current shows with tickets available on both platforms, and we will honor valid tickets from either. Please note the emphasis on valid tickets, as we will not accept counterfeit or unauthorized tickets.

Beware of Third-Party Sellers
We strongly caution against buying tickets from third-party sources like Craigslist, Facebook, StubHub, Vivid Seats, or individual sellers. It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify ticket validity, and we cannot guarantee entry with tickets purchased outside of authorized channels. If counterfeit tickets are presented at the gate, our only option is to deny entry—a difficult decision, but necessary to maintain the integrity of our events.

Social Media Scams
We also recommend avoiding social media posts or comments from individuals claiming to have “2 extra tickets and can’t go.” Many scams involve reselling the same ticket to multiple buyers. If you have any concerns about ticket legitimacy, please reach out to our Box Office for guidance.

What are the age restrictions at this venue?
HI-FI’s age policy varies by event, with most shows open to guests of all ages. Please check the show listing to confirm if your event is all ages, 18+, or 21+. Alcoholic beverages are available for guests 21 and over with a valid, government-issued ID.
Venue Entrance
HI-FI’s main entrance and box office are located at 1043 Virginia Ave., Suite 4, in the Murphy Arts Building, right beneath the HI-FI marquee. This address works best for GPS directions to the venue. HI-FI shares this entrance with our restaurant, Easy Rider.

Security Screening
Upon arrival, all guests will go through a security screening, which may include bag checks, metal detection, and/or wanding. IDs may also be scanned to verify age for those over 21. Any prohibited or illegal items found will be confiscated, and guests attempting to enter with such items may be denied entry or, if found inside the venue, may be subject to ejection.
What is the camera/photo policy for this venue?

The photo policy is determined by the artist and may vary each night. Generally, HI-FI does not permit professional photography unless pre-approved by the band. For approved photographers, photos are allowed during the first three songs only, with no flash permitted. Please note that the artist, not the venue, controls the photo policy for each show.

To request pre-approval for media credentials, please contact marketing@hifiindy.com at least 48 hours prior to the event.

Can I leave and re-enter the venue?
Yes. Re-entry is permitted for HI-FI shows. Guests may be subject to security screening upon readmission.

For assistance in these cases, please reach out to our Box Office.

Fountain Square Parking and Transportation

Parking availability varies depending on the time of arrival, so we recommend arriving early to take advantage of free parking throughout Fountain Square. Free parking can be found along Virginia Ave, stretching from the I-65 overpass to the fountain, as well as on the side streets surrounding the venue. HI-FI, HI-FI Annex, and LO-FI Lounge are all located in the Murphy Arts Center (each with different entrances), so parking anywhere near the building will give you quick access to any of the venues.

Rideshare and Drop-Off

For rideshare services and guest drop-offs: please use the corner of Virginia Ave & Woodlawn

We recommend avoiding travel down St. Patrick St. (in between the HI-FI Annex and St. Patricks Church) on busy show days, as it can become congested with traffic from both directions on this narrow street.

By planning ahead, you can ensure a smoother experience when attending events at our venue.
