Minnesota rapper Prof released his new album Horse to kick off the start of his 2023 US tour.
The album features collaborations with artists such as Method Man, Kevin Gates, Redman, and more. Horse reaffirms Prof as a proven disruptor. The 14-track collection hinges on hilarious observations, hummable hooks, and hypnotic beats.
‘Pack A Lunch’ featuring Redman was the first song and music video the rapper debuted before the record’s release. On “Pack A Lunch,” quirky horn-laden production buzzes and beeps underneath a quotable lyrical crossfire between Prof and the iconic MC born Reggie Noble. In between this volley, the track pops off with a chantable chorus as they both urge, “Go to work, pack a lunch.”, as they cruise in a classic convertible.
