Biohazard: The OGs of Hardcore Fusion Return

Musical pioneers in every sense of the word, Biohazard were one of the first bands to seamlessly blend hardcore, heavy metal, punk, and hip hop into an intoxicating genre all their own. After more than a decade away, the Brooklyn, NY band’s OG lineup reunited in 2023 to both fan fervor and critical acclaim, headlining the opening night of Milwaukee Metal Fest for their first show back.

Ghost Cult Magazine hailed that they “explosively unleashed their fury with fortitude and force” with “a superhuman set and an awe-inspiring show.”

From there, the band launched into a frenzy of live dates: two sold-out hometown shows in NYC, a summer of festivals across Europe and the UK, a fall support run with Megadeth, and a return to Download Festival in 2024 as headliners. They even hit South America before sweeping through the U.S. festival circuit.

Their comeback caused more than a stir—it caused whiplash. Now partnered with BlkllBlk Records, the band is releasing all-new music, more incendiary and relentless than ever. Their lead single and video “Forsaken” is a brutal teaser for what’s next: a full-length album, Divided We Fall, due October 17th, 2025.

Onyx

Queens-bred hip-hop crew Onyx are no strangers to stirring up a riot. Formed in 1988, the group—Fredro Starr, Sonny Seeza, Big DS, and later Sticky Fingaz—smashed into the mainstream with their platinum debut Bacdafucup, powered by the unforgettable 1993 smash “Slam.”

Their style is aggressive, shout-heavy, and fully immersed in hardcore energy—bringing slam dancing, mosh pits, and raw emotion into the world of hip-hop. Their music didn’t just cross boundaries, it set fire to them.

Over the years, Onyx has stayed busy, dropping albums that blend hardcore rap with metal influences (Black Rock, Onyx 4 Life, and their latest Lower East Side). Their legacy is one of confrontation, catharsis, and uncompromising intensity—traits that make them perfect tourmates for Biohazard.

Bayway

Bayway is everything you love about 90s NJHC—pummeling riffs, streetwise swagger, and raw attitude—but flipped for 2025. Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and fronted by Jayway, this five-piece channels the legacy of E-Town Concrete, Fury of Five, and NJ Bloodline while building their own empire.

Since forming in late 2022, Bayway has come out swinging with releases like World of Bayway, The Newport Sessions, and Bayway Takes Manhattan via RTF and DAZE Records. Their fusion of hardcore power and hip-hop delivery isn’t just authentic—it’s lethal.

Now, they’re the first band signed to Trustkill Records since 2008, and they’ve got a new album dropping summer 2025 that’s already making waves. Trust one thing: Bayway has The Recipe.

Swollen Teeth

Rising from the underground like a masked monolith, Swollen Teeth aren’t just a band—they’re a sonic ritual. With backing from Sid Wilson, Ghostemane, and producer Ross Robinson (Slipknot, Korn), this crew mixes hardcore, nu-metal, turntablism, punk gang chants, and cinematic dread into something utterly their own.

They’ve built a cult-like buzz through cryptic online clips, vicious live sets, and a mystique that feels more like a horror movie than a band. Tracks like “CAR CRASH” and “New World Horror” announce their arrival with all the subtlety of a molotov cocktail. This is pure, unrelenting energy—delivered with purpose and wrapped in chaos.
