Formed in 2011, I Dream in Evergreen craft their uniquely “dreamy” brand of indie rock from their home base in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Max Reinhardt and Mason Alexander began writing with now former members Matthew Nichols and Christian Johnston, building a set of songs that would end up becoming their debut album, “To Come Back Home.” Eventually, Max’s wife, Christina, would join the band, adding additional songwriting strength and instrumentation for their debut. As momentum picked up for them, I Dream in Evergreen performed shows alongside the likes of HRVRD (Equal Vision Records), From Indian Lakes (Triple Crown Records), Somos (Tiny Engines), Modern Baseball (Run For Cover), Sorority Noise (Topshelf Records), and The Hotelier.

Not long after the departure of Nichols and Johnston, long-time friends Ryan Draper and Patrick “P$” Larsen were added to the line up on drums and bass guitar, respectively, and work began on carefully stitching together songs reminiscent of their Midwestern influences, with extra-large helpings of harmony-centric vocals, thoughtful melodies, and anthemic guitar hooks. 5 years after the release of “To Come Back Home”, the band would release their second effort “In Daylight on the Night Side” in 2018. It would prove to be a bit of a departure in sound and mood from their first album, with extra-large helpings of harmony-centric vocals, thoughtful melodies, and anthemic guitar hooks. The band is currently at work on new music today.
