About Shiny Vinyl
Jet, Fountains of Wayne, Oasis, and Weezer spent the entire year of 1996 writing songs. They came up with Shiny Vinyl. A Rock n Roll band from Indianapolis, Indiana, Shiny Vinyl specializes in finely crafted songs that are big on riffs, hooks, and engaging lyrics. While new to the Indy scene, Shiny Vinyl has played in the MOKB Presents Battle of the Bands at the Hi-Fi and is currently recording an EP with producer Thom Daugherty, formerly of The Elms and The Band Perry. Expect to see a lot more from Shiny Vinyl in 2020.
3 Kids in our 30s. We would say we are chasing a dream, but we are too lazy and out of shape to run after anything. Just looking to rock. Founded by Tyler Cobb and Anthony Coovert in July of 2017, who met through a Craigslist ad Anthony had posted, Huxley spent their first full year finalizing their line up. Austin and Tyler played together in a past life, and Tyler quickly recruited Austin for drums. Brandon joined as lead guitarist in September of 2018. In February 2019 Anthony made the decision to go active guy in the Army. From here, HXLY decided to move forward as the current three price of Tyler, Austin, and Brandon. They recently hosted and threw their first ever show, drawing nearly 50 people to the back room of a local recording studio.
